Remember the really amazing Google Chrome 'Dear Sophie' ad, released about a year ago where a father uses the Internet to share memories with his daughter as she grows up?
Well, it seems Facebook, whom we all think is very creative in its work, launched a ditto Facebook Timeline ad for brand pages.
Timeline has not been received well by Facebook users since its introduction and now with its so called 'copycat behavior', it's giving users all the more reason to dislike the new feature. Also, in a recent poll carried out by SodaHead, a whopping 70% claimed to dislike the Timeline while only 20% enjoyed using the new layout.
So, even though the Timeline feature may have attracted brands, it certainly has not been appealing to the regular Facebook users.
