A Dutch girl wanted to throw a private party to celebrate her sixteenth birthday. She created an event on Facebook and the ‘hostess’ forgot to choose the right privacy setting. Instead of choosing ‘friends’ she chose ‘public’, thereby making the party accessible to everyone with a Facebook account.

What's best for a student?

As the kids have headed back to school, its only the students who have to wait a little bit longer before returning back to higher education. The attraction of freshers week, and meeting up with all your friends that you've made at university is sure to get rid of your post summer blues. So before setting of, it's a good idea to make sure you've got your essentials in order, with the most important thing being your laptop.

The debate between whether to buy a tablet or a laptop is quite an interesting subject, ecspecially for students who need practicality and moveability. Going to lectures and using your tablet to take notes and having them all saved in one place, and (backed up on your external hard drive). Will help keep you organised instead of having sheets of paper lying all over your room. However when the time comes to write up your dissertation it's better to use a laptop as the mechanical function of the product is just far better to use than a tablet.
