In recent years we have seen a new trend in Super Bowl ads, with advertisers driving viewers online in order to enhance the experience and facilitate or enhance relationships with the brand. The majority of the time this includes driving Super Bowl fans to social networks, where the greatest amount of interaction can happen. Considering that recent research revealed that 36% of Super Bowl viewers will use another media device during the game, it would appear that creating a social or viral ad has never been more important.

The Zamboni Doodle

If you used Google yesterday, you were in for a pleasant surprise. Users were greeted with a playable Google Doodle of a man driving an ice-resurfacing machine. The driver is Frank Zamboni Jr, the inventor of the ice resurfacing machine. He would have turned 112 yesterday and therefore Google decided to put him and his invention in the spotlight.

The Google Doodle competition starts!

The sixth annual Google Doodle competition has been launched with the new theme "My best day ever". The programme allows to design the Google logo for the search engine homepage.
I am sure you would like to know more and maybe participate. However I am disappointed to tell you that it's only for children!
