iPhone and Smartphone Watch Could Finally Arrive

If you can remember the Impulse Smart Watch for BlackBerry, then you have probably been wondering for some time when such an device, will enables you to control your BlackBerry from your wrist, would become a reality for the other handsets. However the same company behind the Impulse Watch have now developed the Pebble Smartwatch, which is compatible with the iPhone and most other smartphones.
As you can see from the video below it is a fairly useful product, however production cannot commence until investment is found.

The device enables you to run and control a number of apps from your wrist, such as the cycling and running examples given in the video. It also has a high resolution, e-paper display, a 7 day battery life and can be linked to apps such as iTunes and Spotify. This is quite impressive, however I don't feel that it is something I would use frequently. What are your thoughts?
