What is Vine?

With approximately 13 million users, Vine is one of the most talked about apps available for mobile download. Described as the "instagram for video", this video clip app is extremely simple. Users create short video clips up to 6 seconds long by pressing their finger to the screen, and withdrawing when they please. You can start a new clip right where you left off, and the mini movie plays continuously with a looping effect.The camera is only recording when the screen is being pressed, giving gif-like effects to the video. Since Vine was acquired by Twitter in 2012, the app has shot to the top of iTunes' most popular free download chart.
