Why We Unfriend People on Facebook

It's probable that we've all been irritated by the actions of our Facebook friends or perhaps the fact that they are even our virtual friends in the first place. Unfriending is commonplace on Facebook and a recent survey by PromotionalCodes.org.uk revealed the top 10 reasons why users remove someone from their friend list, with some expected and unexpected results. 



Top of the list was bragging, with 68% of respondents giving this as a reason for deleting a Facebook friend. Others that made the list were the frequency of posts, annoying updates and bad language, among others. The strangest reason for unfriending has to be "holiday envy", with 11% of respondents suffering from this and subsequently removing a contact. You can see the full list below:
