Let the Cat Puns Commence!

We all know that the internet has some weird obsession with felines and their antics: Grumpy Cat, OMG Cat, cat breading, cats that look like Hitler; the list goes on. And on.

With cat themed content already comprising around 50% of the internet (closely followed by pornography at 44%), it seems like the inevitable has finally happened: cats now have their own private internet.*

Mimicking our human website BuzzFeed, the cat internet features such useful, enlightening and entertaining articles as The 33 Best Human Memes on the Internet and 8 Reasons Why Dogs are the Worst Type of Cat.
It's funny because it's true.

Besides the obvious sense of satisfaction I (and I'm sure you) feel from cats having deemed one of our creative endeavours worthy of emulation, I think this could herald a golden age for our human internet. If all cat topics are exclusively found within the cat internet then it opens up our version to become filled with educational, creative, interesting and thought provoking content. In the absence of Ninja Cat and Cat Fail, YouTube might become the realm of great thinkers, poets and artists. This could be just what mankind has been waiting for!

Or it just means there'll be a lot more porn.
