Social media provides a great platform for real time engagement during sports events, with events such as the Super Bowl breaking records for engagement on Twitter. A recent study from Catalyst PR has revealed how sports fan engage with social media and some of the results are quite unexpected, such as Facebook being the most used platform for discussing sports.
